About Annmarie

Born and raised in Tallaght, in the foothills of Dublin, Ireland, Annmarie was "raised on songs and stories." Instead of getting her mother's classic beauty, she got her father's high forehead, and his way with words.

Annmarie is on a life-long mission to look after her physical and mental health. She is a writer, radio presenter and speaker. She also helps businesses and individuals with social media management and loves to encourage the 'tech-shy' to get connected.

My Story

I’m Annmarie Miles.
Amo to most people and Aunty Amo to a multitude of nieces and neffs.

I’m from Tallaght in Dublin, I live in Pontypool in South Wales with my husband in a home filled with books, musical instruments and fridge magnets.

I'm a writer of both fiction and non-fiction. I also love to talk and spend a lot of time doing that with UCB Ireland Radio and my podcast, Words, Wobbles and Wisdom which charts my tumultuous journey going from fattie to fittie.

I also love to help people with social media and smart technology. I do this through my small venture which is called Sunflower Tech I believe that even the most tech-shy people can get to grips with the internet with practise. I could run your social media for you, but only you can make it uniquely yours. I am passionate about enabling folk to do as much as for themselves as they can.
